My family loves Jackbox games; one of our favorites is Trivia Murder Party. For Christmas, I decided to make an amigurumi-style toy of our favorite character for my brother.
I taught myself how to crochet as I went. So, I ended up scraping the whole thing about six times. It was honestly an exciting way to learn a new craft! Just dive into the deep end and see what happens. I didn’t have anything to lose (other than a Christmas present…).
I took advantage of my in-house 3D printer for the nail in the head. The nail was designed in Rhino by modeling a simplified nail and then skewing it 45 degrees to exaggerate the perspective. It’s all held together by a little nub that friction fits into the fabric.
